I am a Clinical Psychologist offering specialist evidence-based psychological therapies in Central London, just off Oxford Street.
Over the past 17 years I have worked with people experiencing psychological distress and mental health difficulties, including adolescents, adults and older adults. I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist 10 years ago and I provide private therapy and clinical supervision alongside my role within the NHS.
I am a fully-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have also received formal training and experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am both a Chartered Member (CPsychol) and Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am also a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology (DCP).
I have extensive experience of providing evidence-based psychological therapies for adolescents, adults and older adults struggling with psychological distress and mental health difficulties, including:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and mood problems
Issues around sexuality
Trauma, adjustment and loss
Building self-esteem and confidence
Self-criticism and shame
Health issues and chronic pain
Adjustment to long-term health conditions
Managing the impact of cancer
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues since starting in the field of mental health in 2002. I have experience of working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in both private and public settings.
Qualifications and Training
- 2002 - BSc (Hons) Psychology
- 2009 - D.ClinPsy Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- 2010 - Chartered by the British Psychological Society
- 2012 - Accredited as a CBT therapist by the BABCP
£110 per 50 minute session.
